Carbon Steel Pipe Fittings
Carbon steel pipe fittings for OEM adapters, plugs, bushings, and connectors. Forged, cold-headed, or CNC machined with plating options and drawing-controlled threads from Hongqian.
Carbon steel remains the workhorse for many hydraulic, pneumatic, and general fluid fittings when plating or paint will handle corrosion and cost must stay practical at volume. Hongqian produces carbon steel pipe fittings as OEM parts — adapters, plugs, bushings, unions, and custom CNC shapes — to approved prints rather than one fixed catalog geometry.
Typical grades include free-machining and structural carbons such as 1020, 1045, 12L14, 1215, and related stocks. Process route depends on volume: CNC bar for pilots and complex shapes; cold heading or hot forging plus secondary machining when annual demand justifies tooling.
Finish and inspection notes
Zinc, electroless nickel, black oxide, and specialized coatings are quoted against the service environment you describe. Thread standards (NPT, BSPP, BSPT, metric, UN) are read from the print and verified on the agreed gauge plan. Ask for MTR or dimensional reports when your PO requires them.
Request a quote with PDF + STEP files, or compare stainless options in our stainless category if corrosion risk is higher.
How OEM carbon programs usually start
Most carbon fitting transfers begin with a PDF print, a target first lot, and a note about plating. We confirm whether CNC bar or form-and-chase is the economical route, then return manufacturability comments with the quote. Repeat orders keep the same revision control so hex stock, thread gauges, and finish codes do not drift between shipments.
For assemblies that also need stainless lines, keep separate SKUs rather than forcing one metal across the catalog. That keeps cost honest and corrosion performance matched to each application.

01When should I choose carbon steel instead of stainless?
Choose carbon when the environment allows plating/paint, volume is meaningful, and field corrosion risk is moderate. Choose stainless when chlorides, washdown, or bare corrosion resistance dominate.
02Can you forge and then machine critical features?
Yes. Many volume fittings are formed first, then CNC-chased on threads and sealing faces. We confirm the route after reviewing the print and quantity.
03Which platings are common?
Zinc (clear/yellow), electroless nickel, black oxide, and selected high-performance coatings. Share salt-spray or appearance targets when known.
04Do you support custom hex and wrench sizes?
Yes when stock and forming tooling allow. Non-standard hex may shift the process toward CNC — we will flag that in the quote.
