OEM / ODM

Contract manufacturing from drawing intake to volume production for pipe fittings, fasteners, and CNC parts.

Yuhuan Hongqian Machinery Co., Ltd. (Hongqian) is a contract manufacturing factory in Damixi, Longxi, Yuhuan, Zhejiang, China. Most of our export work is OEM / ODM machining for overseas brands and industrial buyers—not catalog trading. This page explains how we take a drawing from intake to sample approval and volume shipment, using the same capability ranges we publish across the site.

OEM CNC Machining Manufacturing

You provide drawings and specifications. We manufacture to your brand, material, thread, finish, and packing requirements. Typical programs include pipe fittings, fasteners, and CNC turned parts that need repeatable threads and leak-focused inspection.

Accepted inputs commonly include STEP, IGES, PDF, and CAD drawings. Incomplete prints slow quotation; a clear material grade, thread callout, and critical dimensions usually get manufacturability feedback faster.

ODM Engineering & Machining Support

If a design is not yet production-ready, we help refine a manufacturable solution, then produce it as your contract manufacturing partner. Reverse engineering from a physical sample is possible within practical limits—send the sample or detailed measurements and we will evaluate whether a stable production route is realistic.

OEM = your print drives acceptance. ODM = we help shape a manufacturable design, then lock it as your controlled drawing for repeat orders.

What we machine for OEM / ODM programs

Core materials we publish for production: stainless steel (including common grades such as 201, 303, 304, 316, 316L), carbon steel (including 1020, 1045, 12L14, 1215, Q235B, 42CrMo etc.), plus brass, copper, aluminum, and other alloys on request.

Thread standards we regularly machine: NPT, NPTF, BSPP (G), BSPT (R/RP), Metric (M), UNF, UNEF, and mixed combinations when the drawing requires them. Production threads can be verified with Go/No-Go gauges.

Surface treatments available on the same manufacturing line include electroless nickel plating, zinc plating (clear/yellow), passivation, anodizing, black oxide, heat treatment, chrome plating, and Dacromet—selected against your corrosion and appearance needs, not as a default claim.

From drawing intake to mass production

  1. Drawing intake & DFM comments — we review geometry, threads, tolerances, and finish before locking a quote route.
  2. Material & thread confirmation — grade, approved alternatives (if any), and thread standard are written into the order record.
  3. Sample build — sample lead time is often around ~10 working days after drawing confirmation and material readiness.
  4. Sample approval — validate dimensions, threads, and coating before volume release.
  5. Production & ship — in-process inspection, protective packing, and export logistics for repeat replenishment.

Custom fitting programs commonly start near ~2,000 pcs, depending on complexity. Pilot lots can be discussed after the drawing is frozen.

Quality controls buyers usually request

  • Go/No-Go thread checks on agreed samples / production lots
  • Dimensional inspection against the approved drawing
  • Material Test Reports (MTR) when required on the PO
  • Hardness or salt-spray testing when those methods are specified for the material or finish route
  • Private-label laser marking for logos, part numbers, thread types, or batch codes
  • Export packing with protective caps, film, and labels suited to your warehouse

We do not invent pressure ratings, media approvals, or third-party certificates on this page. Those are confirmed only when your drawing or purchase order states them.

What to include in your RFQ

  • Exact thread callout (for example NPT / BSP/Metric)
  • Material grade and any approved alternatives
  • Surface treatment and appearance notes
  • Critical tolerances and sealing method
  • Estimated pilot quantity and annual volume
  • Required documents: MTR, hardness, dimensional / projector report

Send files through Contact Us or email info@sspipefitting.com. Complete packages usually receive quotation guidance within about 24 hours on business days.

Industries we usually support

Programs most often sit in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, oil and gas / process fittings, automotive components, and industrial machinery hardware—especially where leak-focused threads and repeatable OEM quality matter more than catalog browsing.

How buyers typically work with us

Share the drawing package and commercial targets first. We return manufacturability notes, pricing guidance, and a sample plan. After sample approval, volume production follows the locked print. Reorders use the same material, thread, finish, and packing notes so replenishment stays consistent.

Transparency: every numeric capability mentioned here (sample timing, MOQ guidance, CNC capacity, material and finish lists) comes from our published site specifications and operating defaults. If a claim is not listed, ask us to confirm it against your drawing before treating it as a promise.

Factory capacity context

Production stays in-house with precision CNC lathes integrated with automated truss robots (capability sheet: about 60 CNC sets). Programming, machining, inspection, and packing share one quality loop in Yuhuan, Zhejiang—so OEM / ODM programs do not bounce between a trader and an unknown workshop.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

01Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?

We are a factory. Yuhuan Hongqian Machinery Co., Ltd. runs OEM/ODM machining in-house—programming, CNC production, inspection, and packing under one roof in Yuhuan, Zhejiang.

02What is the difference between OEM and ODM at Hongqian?

OEM: you provide drawings and specifications; we manufacture to your brand and requirements. ODM: we help refine a manufacturable design, then produce it as your contract manufacturing partner.

03What should I send for an accurate OEM quote?

Send STEP / IGES / PDF / CAD drawings, material grade, thread callouts, surface treatment, estimated quantity, and any required certificates (MTR, hardness, dimensional report). Email info@sspipefitting.com or use Contact Us.

04What materials and thread standards can you machine?

Core materials: stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, copper, and aluminum. Threads include NPT, NPTF, BSPT, BSPP, Metric, UNF/UNEF, and mixed combinations. Production batches can be Go/No-Go gauge checked.

05What is your typical MOQ and sample lead time?

Custom fitting programs commonly start near ~2,000 pcs, depending on complexity. Sample lead time is often around ~10 working days after drawing confirmation and material readiness.

06Do you provide samples, MTR, and inspection reports?

Yes. Samples are recommended before mass production. Mill test reports, hardness reports, and dimensional inspection records can be supplied on request when stated on the PO.

07Can you reverse-engineer from a physical sample?

Yes, within practical limits. Send a sample or detailed measurements and we will evaluate reverse engineering for stable production.

08Can you do private-label marking and export packing?

Yes. Laser marking is available for logos, part numbers, thread types, and batch codes. Parts ship with protective packing suited for export logistics.

09Do you publish pressure ratings for OEM parts on this page?

No. Pressure, media compatibility, and third-party approvals are confirmed only when stated on your drawing, specification, or PO. This page sticks to materials, threads, finishes, process, QC, MOQ, and sample timing we actually operate.
